Social Media Marketing for RL MUSIC

Brief

RL MUSIC is a musician booking agency from Croatia. Having just started their business journey, they wanted to strengthen their presence on social media, specifically Instagram. First, they did it by themselves, however, the owner quickly realized that he needed an expert.

So, he contacted us to develop a social media strategy as well as to create content for RL MUSIC. The goal was to create content that would showcase their work, and reviews from previous clients, and share tips and tricks for hiring the right music performers.

Solution

We first developed a social media marketing strategy to better navigate our content direction. We first started by determining the target audience. For the first phase of the RL MUSIC business model, we choose event managers.

After market research and the fact that RL MUSIC offers musicians for corporate, private, and other events, it was decided that this was the right choice. Following that, we made a SWOT analysis in which we determined RL MUSIC’s place in the industry.

At this stage, the owner wanted to go only with the organic content. So to succeed in achieving a higher engagement rate, we decided to post 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. Furthermore, the company will not yet make a website due to budget limitations. Its Instagram profile should be used as a temporary solution for its clients.

That being said we did a profile audit to position them better in the Instagram search, as well as making the basic info such as contact, service, and FAQ more visible.

And in the end, our favorite part, the content creation. We made a mix of carousel posts and reels, both educational and sales posts. Our goal was to create and maintain an Instagram presence, build brand awareness, and convert followers into customers.

With our work, we managed to achieve a 56 % higher reach on Instagram and a 42.86 % engagement rate.
